FULL SERVICE ESTIMATION
Tinco Sheet Metal provides full service in house estimation services for your Sheet Metal needs. All of our bids that we provide are completed by our in house estimators who work to identify not only what is shown on the plans but also areas of issue that should be addressed for a water tight building. Our estimators work directly with our fabricators and vendors to give you the most up to date pricing and offer any potential cost savings if we see an area for improvement or discrepancies in the plans. We pride ourselves in giving you a bid that identifies every detail that has sheet metal and if we have included or excluded that item. Our proposals identify each specific item and provide you with the total quantity takeoff for each of the line items. We consider ourselves to be the best in the industry when it comes to our estimation department and their level of detail.
In addition to providing full service estimation for hard bid projects we also offer budgetary pricing for projects that are in the design phase of construction. We can take a set of preliminary plans that are 50% complete and help identify a budgetary number that will cover the costs of sheet metal or metal paneling for your project. We look at and will forecast our pricing based on trends, current market pricing and anticipated potential price changes in the industry.
DETAILING DEPARTMENT
Tinco Sheet Metal has in house engineering capabilities to provide shop drawings in AutoCAD for all of our services offered. We provide a fully coordinated set of shop drawings for each of our disciplines that has been coordinated with the Architectural set of plans, Specifications and Contract. The AutoCAD drawings are based on the most current version of AutoCAD and will be completed in a 2D format that can be sent electronically or as hard copies. When we provide shop drawings for Exterior Paneling we spend the time and effort to review building interface, transitions at windows and doors, interface with other materials and we identify areas of concern that need additional clarification. We believe if we take the time to plan and review the project at the shop drawing stage, we allow ourselves the ability to plan and execute a better project.
VALUE ENGINEERING
As a part of our bidding process, Tinco Sheet Metal offers our clients the ability to “Value Engineer” certain aspects of the project. When Tinco is made aware that the project needs to be value engineered, we will identify and clarify what potential items could be modified or changed to help create some cost savings for the project. This may be a simple revise in the gauge of material or even a substitute from one material to another. We spend the time to properly identify and clarify potential savings for your project without sacrificing quality or craftsmanship.
DESIGN ASSIST
Tinco Sheet Metal provides a service to our clients that will help them take a project from initial design concept to project completion. We have had clients come to us with just an idea and a budget requesting us to help identify and recommend a panel or system that can achieve their desired look. We will work with our clients and architects to take this concept from design to architectural drawings to installation. All while being conscious of the budget and any time constraints with material or installation deadlines. We also offer Value Engineering options that will allow for us to offer you similar products or services at reduced costs but without sacrificing quality or warranties.
